Paul Kanjorski, D-Pa., held off a fierce challenge from Republican Lou Barletta and was elected to a 13th term. Kanjorski, Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Entities won with 52 percent of the vote, despite polls showing him trailing until the end.
